Liqua Nutrients, formerly known as Bio Leaf Plant Nutrients, marks a new chapter in our journey. Our roots are deeply embedded in the world of plant nutrients, the very reason Bio Leaf was born. After selling the potting mix operation of Bio Leaf, we returned to our roots and transformed into Liqua Nutrients.

We're excited to continue our legacy under Liqua Nutrients. As the proud New Zealand agents for Superthrive Nutrient Solutions (previously Dyna Gro), we're committed to bringing the best for your plants.
What's New?
We're in the process of launching our very own New Zealand-made Liqua Nutrient fertiliser range. Once complete, our Liqua Nutrient fertiliser range will cover the nutrient requirements of all growth stages from seedlings to mature plants.
Keep an eye out for our first product, which is set to launch in January. Additionally, we're working hard to get our website up and running within the next 10 days. Stay tuned for more updates!

Meet the Team
Greg Barnes
Business Responsibilities: Product Development, Marketing, and Technology.
A farmer at heart, I discovered my love for the land in my teenage years in Kokstad, South Africa. After completing compulsory military service with 1 Parachute Battalion (SADF), I naturally chose a career in farming, managing various agricultural operations from sugar cane farms, commercial forestry, avocado orchards and seedling production nurseries.
My passion for soil and plant nutrition traces back to my school days. Attending Weston Agricultural College, we studied subjects like soil science, plant science and animal science. These subjects provided a good foundation for understanding soil and plant nutrition.
I have been growing plants since my late teens and have always experimented with different fertilisers and observed what effect they have on plant health and growth. Being curious by nature, I still try different products and often share the findings with our community. During this process, I discovered Dyna-Gro Plant Nutrients and observed how well plants responded to its application.
Lynette Barnes
Business Responsibilities: Administration, Order Management, and Dispatch.
I'm the voice behind most of your emails and calls.
I have always had a love for plants and anything that produces a flower. Besides orchids I love roses. Greg has the gift of being able to grow plants, and I have the eye for picking out good-quality flowers.
My other interests include reading, scrapbooking, painting and making sure my family have a good hearty meal at the end of the day.
And yes, I'm also the one who keeps Greg's grammar and spelling in check! (LOL)
